Law Library of Congress Highlights from June 2026
The mission of the Law Library of Congress is to provide authoritative legal research, reference, and instruction services and access to an unrivaled collection of U.S., foreign, comparative, and international law. Here are some of the new resources you may have missed recently.
In June, we expanded our collection and access to our digital collections through the following acquisitions:
- The Official Gazette of the Macau Special Administrative Region: This release comprises 106 issues with coverage spanning 2021, including indexes, supplements, and extraordinary issues.
- The Government Gazette of the Republic of Nauru: The second installment of the Government Gazette of the Republic of Nauru is now available online in the Foreign Legal Gazettes in the Law Library of Congress collection. This release comprises 2,452 new issues with coverage spanning 1980–2012, including main issues and extraordinary issues.
- The Belgian Official Gazette: This release comprises 580 issues with coverage spanning 2003–2008, including multiple editions.
- The Official Gazette of Peru: This release comprises 2,324 issues with coverage spanning 2001–2010, including main issues, extraordinary issues, indexes, and separatas especiales.
- The Official Gazette of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, Sección Avisos: This release comprises 5,158 issues with coverage spanning 1950–1969.
