Yes I think the Saturday plan works really well. We can start at the farmers market around 9 to avoid the biggest crowd and then grab coffee at that place on Grand Avenue. After that if everyone is still up for it we could head over to the arboretum since the weather forecast looks clear and mild. I called ahead to check on parking availability and they said the north lot is usually much quieter even on weekends. A few of us were also thinking about bringing folding chairs and a blanket just in case we want to sit out on the lawn for a bit. Someone mentioned they wanted to check out the new plant sale they are having near the visitor center. That might be fun to wander through before we wrap up. Let me know if we should plan for a late lunch option too. I can make a reservation somewhere casual if we decide to extend the afternoon. There is a spot on Walnut that does good sandwiches and salads and they take walk-ins mostly but I can call ahead if the group gets bigger than six. Just let me know the final count by Thursday evening so I can sort out the details on my end.

The committee meeting notes are mostly finalized now. I reviewed the draft agenda and made a few small adjustments to the timeline so we have a bit more breathing room between the presentations. The main room is booked from 9 to noon and then we have the smaller breakout space for the afternoon session. Catering will bring in coffee and pastries at 8:30 and a light lunch around 12:15. I confirmed the projector and microphone setup with the building manager yesterday. A couple of members asked if we could share the slides ahead of time so I will send out a link to the shared folder by Wednesday. If anyone needs printed handouts I will need a headcount by Tuesday so I can arrange copies. The parking validation codes are ready and I will include them in the reminder email that goes out two days before the meeting. Please check your section of the agenda for any last corrections and send them to me by end of day tomorrow. I think we are in good shape overall and the preparation work has come together well this cycle.
