The U.S. military launched new attacks on Iran in retaliation for Iranian attacks against commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz, U.S. Central Command said on X.

Three tankers were struck by projectiles today, the British military said, and the United States revoked a license that had authorized the sale of Iranian oil as part an interim deal to end the fighting.

“Iran’s demonstrated aggression was unwarranted, dangerous, and a clear violation of the ceasefire,” CENTCOM said.
