VA Augusta Ambulance Ribbon-Cutting

VA Augusta Health Care System will launch a new Emergency Ambulance Service with a ribbon-cutting on Thursday, July 16, at 10 a.m. at our Uptown campus (1 Freedom Way in Augusta.) The in-house service will help Veterans with specialized medical needs get to appointments, private hospitals and the Emergency Department safely and without delays.

 

Golden Age Games VA Augusta

A team of 20 VA Augusta Veterans recently returned from the 40th National Golden Age Games in Tampa, Florida, where they earned 22 awards across multiple events. The VA Augusta team’s success is a testament to the resilience of its Veterans, as well as the commitment of VA Augusta rehabilitation professionals who help Veterans work toward their fitness and therapy goals. Statesboro Stand Down Augusta

Save the date, Statesboro-area Veterans!

Join VA Augusta for a Stand Down for Veterans at the American Legion Dexter Allen Post 90 at 100 Rucker Lane in Statesboro from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Sep. 18. The resource fair and claims clinic will feature VA Benefits Regional Office Reps, VA Registration and IDs, Military Environment Health, VA and Community Resources & Housing Support, Veterans Justice Outreach (VJO), and a free lunch.
