LGBTQ+ Services Update
Effective July 20, 2026, and due to a vacancy in the LGBTQ+ Veteran care coordinator role, Madison VA is implementing adjustments to how LGBTQ+ Veterans access assistance.
During this transition, we encourage all Veterans to reach out with questions or when support is needed.
The LGBTQ+ direct phone extension will be forwarded to our Social Work team, (608) 280-7085, where calls will be triaged and directed to the most appropriate staff member to ensure timely and comprehensive assistance.
