I hope everyone has had an opportunity to enjoy some time with family and friends this summer. While our weekly updates took a short break, the Activities Office certainly hasn't. Summer is flying by, and we've been hard at work preparing our campus and athletic programs for another outstanding school year.
Although competition is on pause during the offseason, there has been no shortage of activity around South County. Several of our programs have spent the summer training and preparing for the fall season, and our youth camps once again welcomed future Stallions to campus. It has been great to see so many student-athletes, coaches, and families taking advantage of the summer months to continue building our programs.
We're also excited to share that our Athletics & Activities website is fully updated and back online. In addition, we've transitioned to a new athletic registration platform to make the registration process more streamlined for our families. Please review the information below to ensure your student-athlete is registered and ready for the upcoming season.
Fall sports are just around the corner, and we can't wait to welcome our student-athletes back to campus on Monday, August 3, for the first day of fall tryouts. Before long, our halls will be full again as we kick off the school year.

There is a special energy that comes with the start of a new school year, and we are excited for everything that lies ahead. We look forward to seeing our athletes, students, families, alumni, and community members back on campus as we begin another year of building champions in competition, the classroom, and character.

We are very excited to announce that South County High School & Fairfax County Public Schools has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign athletic forms for your students. FCPS and FinalForms have worked to ensure we safeguard your most sensitive information. FinalForms meets all of FCPS’ rigorous data protection requirements and will be a tremendous new partner.
All parents with students registered in grades 9-12 will receive a confirmation email from FinalForms by Tuesday, July 7. These emails will be delivered to the email address associated with the enrolling parent. Please check your spam/junk folder and if the FinalForms email landed there please “mark as safe” emails from FinalForms and add them to your “contacts”. Your school, and the Office of Student Activities and Athletics, will use FinalForms to communicate directly with the enrolling parent quite regularly throughout the school year.
After you receive the initial email from FinalForms, click on the Parent Playbook (linked below) to get started in FinalForms. If you require any support during the process, scroll to the page bottom-right and click “Get Help”.
