The best in women’s basketball will gather in Chicago this week for WNBA All-Star weekend, a three-day event headlined by the All-Star Game on Saturday at the United Center. The two teams will be coached by WNBA greats Teresa Weatherspoon and Cynthia Cooper. Team Coop features Paige Bueckers, Breanna Stewart and Angel Reese, while Caitlin Clark, A’ja Wilson and Olivia Miles lead Team Spoon. The league has yet to announce competitors for the 3-point contest and skills challenge, which will take place Friday at Wintrust Arena. Fans arrive for the WNBA All-Star Game on July 10, 2022, at Wintrust Arena. The event is returning to Chicago this week, with the game being played at the United Center.
