Good morning, Chicago.

The best in women’s basketball will gather in Chicago this week for WNBA All-Star weekend, a three-day event headlined by the All-Star Game on Saturday at the United Center.

The two teams will be coached by WNBA greats Teresa Weatherspoon and Cynthia Cooper. Team Coop features Paige Bueckers, Breanna Stewart and Angel Reese, while Caitlin Clark, A’ja Wilson and Olivia Miles lead Team Spoon. The league has yet to announce competitors for the 3-point contest and skills challenge, which will take place Friday at Wintrust Arena.

Chicago previously hosted All-Star weekend in 2022, but it was a smaller affair — a reflection of the still-growing interest in the WNBA. This year’s event will include a host of sprawling brand-sponsored events throughout the city, including pop-ups at the city's women’s sports bars.

Here’s where to go and what to do in Chicago this weekend.
