Stop by to enjoy the beauty of our campus. The erosion garden planted by our students is in bloom. The painted brick liners add the perfect pop of color. You can sit in the shade on the bench we "earned" with all the plastic we recycled throughout the year. You might even see a fox!

A Message from Ms. Consolla

Greetings from Fort Hunt! Our campus is quiet, but it's still buzzing with activity. We hosted a Responsive Classroom three-day course at the end of June. Several of our staff members attended and left so excited to return in August with new ways to build a caring learning community in their classrooms. 

All of the chalkboards installed in the early 1970s have been removed from classrooms, and we're awaiting the installation of brand new whiteboards. (Did you know that salmon-pink was a popular wall color for schools in the 1970s?
