Students in Professor Boris Fishman’s class read some of the greatest works in the English language—as writers rather than as readers. They ask not only “What does it mean?” but “How was it made?” Then they re-imagine parts of these iconic works in their own voices.
April 4: Four UATX students – Judah Levin, Max Weinstein, Sam Indyk, and Eitan Zarin – arrive at the Boring Company in Bastrop to compete against engineering teams of up to 60. Over the year, they spent 50+ hours a week building a tunneling machine for the Not-a-Boring Competition — in addition to their academic load.
