It’s Yellow Piennolo Season in Napoli!

 

In August, around Mount Vesuvius, Napoli’s yellow Piennolo tomatoes are harvested at the height of summer and at their peak sweetness.

 

We know for a fact that yellow Piennolo season is our tomato farmer Aniello’s favourite time of year so we had him in mind when we designed this pizza.

 

Sweet and delicate with the tomatoes but packing a punch with the roasted sausage and smoked provola.
