Review: Smashing Pumpkins at Lollapalooza proved they were nobody’s nostalgia act

On Day 2 of Lollapalooza, it was very clear who was waiting for headliners Smashing Pumpkins versus headliner Charli xcx. The jokes were endless all day: “Parentpalooza,” the kids tagged anyone who appeared to be over 40 with sensible shoes on.
