The increased cost of basic essentials has caused problems for many families. Today we hear about the experiences of people forced to make dangerous choices because baby formula has become just too expensive.
Researchers Amy Brown and Aimee Grant interviewed parents who
had bought opened formula tins, watered down feeds and used made-up formula for later feeds because they couldn’t meet the costs of their shopping bill. These are all things that put babies at risk and at the very least put parents under stress.
As another heatwave scorches the UK, workers are again dealing with conditions they will have hoped were a once-in-a-summer occurrence. What’s worse,
