All Four Campaigns Funded

​161 backers got here first, and every one of these four hit its funding goal, with two past 190%. The files are finished, the projects are real, and there's nothing left to gamble on. Early-bird design files start at $4.49, and each project has a limited number of early-bird spots. Once they're claimed the price goes up, so pick the one you'll actually build this month, or back more than one.

Gachapon Machine

​Turn the handle and a capsule drops, with a clear front panel that shows the gear train working and a lift-off top for refills. Fill the capsules with candy or message cards and it becomes the thing people line up for at a fair. Builds in about 1.5 hours, the fastest one here, and the early-bird file is $8.91.

Mechanical Wooden Clocks

​Three designs come in one file set, each built from layered plywood so the gears, bridges and escapements stay exposed the way a skeleton watch shows its movement. Hang one and the layers throw different shadows through the day, so it reads as craftsmanship up close rather than a printed panel. About 2 days per clock, movement bought separately, and the early-bird file is $8.10 for all three.

Titanic Laser-Cut Model

​1,298mm long and 700+ precision-cut parts, held together by traditional interlocking joints so the hull takes shape deck by deck as you work. Two days in, you have a piece built to be displayed rather than stored away. The files need a 40 × 30 cm cutting area, so check your machine first. Early bird $10.80.

Twist Explosion Boxes

​Rotate the lid and the compartments open out: the three-layer square version gives you twelve, each layer turning independently, so nothing has to come off to reach what's underneath. Screws, findings and small components stay sorted and reachable without digging, and the square and triangular versions stack as your collection grows. About 2 days to build, and the early-bird file is $4.49, the cheapest here.

Design files include the XCS files and a step-by-step assembly guide. Materials kits ship to the US only, within 1 month after a campaign closes.

Not included: clock movements, capsules, wood glue and paint.
