Keep Arlington Roads Safe

Arlington Public School classes resume on Monday, August 31. Expect an increase in children walking, bicycling, and riding the buses throughout Arlington.

Transportation safety is a group effort; it takes all of us working together and following the rules of the road to keep our community safe.

At least 30 Arlington restaurants will participate in the Metropolitan Washington Summer Restaurant Week, beginning on Aug. 24. 

Prices vary by restaurant and meal, with options ranging from $25 lunches to $65 dinners.

Remembrance and Reflection

Twenty-five years after the events of September 11, 2001, the public is invited to join Arlington County Government and the Military Women's Memorial for an evening of remembrance, reflection, and resilience.
