Yeah I was just thinking about that too. I went back and forth on it for a while but honestly the whole thing felt pretty straightforward once I started laying it out. I think the trick is to take the parts that work and leave the rest alone. You know how it is when you look at something too long. I ended up taking the long way around just to clear my head and then the answer was sitting right there. Anyway I grabbed a coffee and wrote down a few lines on a napkin and that settled it. The rest of the afternoon was just filling in the gaps. I kept saying to myself this doesn't need to be complicated. My neighbor asked about it the other day and I basically told him the same thing. Keep it simple and keep moving. The details have a way of working themselves out once you get going. I should probably stop overthinking and just trust the process a little more. That is what I told my sister after dinner when she called about her own project. She laughed and said I always know what to say but never take my own advice. Fair point. Anyway I have to head out in a few minutes to pick up a package before the post office closes for the day. Hope that helps a little.

I hear you on that. Honestly I think the whole thing came together faster than I expected once I stopped second-guessing everything. We were sitting outside for a while and I was just rambling about random stuff like the garden and the new dog next door and somewhere in there I figured out what I wanted to do. My brother called halfway through and asked if I wanted to go for a walk but I told him I had to finish something first. He got it and didn't push. After that everything clicked. I wrote it all down in one sitting and then just let it sit for a while before looking at it again. It feels better with fresh eyes. Sometimes the best thing you can do is step back and let the thing settle. Then the next morning it seemed obvious. Not sure why I ever thought it was complicated. I told my neighbor about it over the fence and she said the same thing had happened to her last month with a different kind of project. Funny how that works. Anyway I should get going and take care of the other thing before it gets dark. Talk soon.
