U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has accused Prime Minister Mark Carney of manufacturing a dispute over French to influence Quebec’s election, The Gazette's Harry North reports.
“This is manufactured,” said Lutnick, a close ally of President Trump. “There’s the sovereignty party trying to run, and they’re in the lead in Quebec.”
