EDITOR'S NOTE

As we head towards Labor Day, I’m prepping for a friend’s wedding on Cape Cod. The trip will be a mix of festivities and downtime, and while I’ve yet to start packing, here’s what’s on my mental to-bring list:

• The knit bucket hat I love to wear while sunbathing.

• The heeled sandals I will actually spend all night dancing in.

• My shoulder oyster bag that always draws tons of compliments.

• The cotton gauze joggers I plan to wear during the road trip there.
