Thank you for being part of the Noun Project community! We’re writing to let you know that we’ve updated Noun Project’s Terms of Use.
The updates include:
- Terms for Noun Studio: Noun Studio is a new, specialized icon editor and generator that delivers visually consistent results while compensating human designers. The updated terms address paid access, credits, generated icons, licensing, and permitted uses.
- A new license for generated icons: Icons generated with Noun Studio receive a Royalty-Free Commercial License for personal and commercial use.
- Restrictions on generated icons: Icons generated with Noun Studio may not be submitted to Noun Project or similar services.
- Continued protection of our human-created collection: AI-generated content may not be submitted to Noun Project’s icon collection, which will remain human-created.
The updated terms take effect on September 2, 2026. We encourage you to read the updated Terms of Use in full. By continuing to use Noun Project on or after September 2, 2026, you accept and agree to these updates.
