This especially applies to the parents...

Hey, Mark here.

I have a funny story for you, the parents are especially going to appreciate this...

One of my kids has an online business, and we were talking about content the other day.

She said, “Dad, what do you know about that?”

I almost said, "Just look around. Where do you think this house and everything in it came from???"

It reminds me of a clip I saw from the singer of Linkin Park. He was giving his daughter some music advice, and she told her mom, "Dad doesn't know what he's talking about."

So I guess all of us parents deal with this.

On the other hand, I do a Bible study on Wednesday mornings. Recently a couple of the young guys came up to me afterward and started asking about online business. They were picking my brain about what I do and how they could get started.

The group doesn't have an official leader. It's just a big group of guys that sit in a circle on the beach and anyone can speak up and contribute.

There's a huge variety of experiences and knowledge and skills. So whatever verse we're reading, or any problem someone has, there's a ton of advice.

I feel very fortunate to be able to contribute financial advice.

For most people, money is a source of anxiety. But money is just another skill to be learned. To be mastered.

Once you understand how money works, it stops feeling like something that happens to you. You can start making decisions from a position of strength instead of fear.

But overcoming your own money problems should only be the first step.

I don’t want to create a small group of people who become wealthy while everyone around them continues struggling.

I want to help people understand money so well that they can go out and cast those money problems out of their families, businesses, and communities.

People who can create opportunities for the people around them.

People who can become a light in the world.

That’s the bigger vision.

Building wealth for yourself is powerful.

Using that knowledge and freedom to create a ripple that helps other people do the same is even more powerful.

I hope you'll help me spread that ripple!

Have an awesome weekend.

To your wealth,

Mark
