We=E2=80=99ve updated our legal documents to make the rules for using Netla=
s data easier to understand. These are mainly clarifications of our existin=
g policy, effective today.
- **Any paid plan lets you provide services to your clients.** This was alr=
eady allowed; we=E2=80=99ve now made it explicit. You can use Netlas data i=
n your own analysis, scores, alerts, and reports=E2=80=94including showing =
relevant data in customer dashboards. These uses don=E2=80=99t require an E=
nterprise plan or attribution to Netlas. Using data to provide your own ana=
lysis or added functionality is ordinary commercial use.
- **Reselling data is different.** If an offering=E2=80=99s main purpose is=
delivering Netlas data itself, it requires the resale/white-label option.
- **Keep data as long as you need it** for your business or research purpos=
es, subject to your plan and applicable law.
- **Keep your API key private.** One backend account can serve multiple cli=
ents within your plan=E2=80=99s limits, but credentials must stay secret an=
d never be delivered to clients.
