I promised I’d show you the cover of my new book The Robot and The Gardener: Being Fully Human in an Artificial Age and I’ll do so.
But first a few things:
—this book is, I do believe, the ideal book for these times we inhabit. It’ll help you protect what makes you most human in this time of social media, technological domination and AI advancement.
—it’s unlike anything I’ve ever written. It’s not a leadership or self-help book (surprising right? At 62, I’m reordering my craft). It’s a parable that isn’t full of teaching. The lessons and learnings come through the characters and story itself.
—it’s about a man who was winning in the world but left empty, exhausted and more like a machine than a person. He meets an old gardener who lives at a cemetery who changes him. Profoundly.
OK Test. After 11+ months living and breathing The Robot and The Gardener, here’s the video where I “reveal” the cover, for the first time: |
