Hi folks,
Production operations have traditionally relied on telemetry, dashboards, and alerts to help engineering teams understand what their systems are doing. As AI becomes part of those systems, and part of how teams operate them, the picture is becoming more complex.
Applications are becoming less deterministic. Teams have more data to interpret. AI and automation can help investigate incidents and surface useful signals, but they also introduce new questions around how engineers understand system behavior and decide when to act.
On September 22nd, InfoQ will host a 60-minute live roundtable and Q&A on “Beyond Observability: Evolving Production Operations in the Age of AI.” We’ll discuss how production operations are changing as AI becomes part of both our applications and the way we run them.
Topics include:
- Using AI and automation to turn production data into actionable insights
- Helping engineering teams interpret increasingly complex system behavior
- Designing systems that are easier to understand, operate, and troubleshoot
- Understanding how AI changes incident response, software delivery, and the deterministic nature of applications
