Mega yachts are cheaper than you realize...

A couple of days ago, I was talking with a young guy who works for a 9-figure entrepreneur. 

He said watching him up close has pushed him to set bigger goals for himself. He made a joke about having a yacht one day. 

I said, “You know you can do that right now, right?”

There are mega yachts with 15 cabins you can rent for a week. Get 15 couples together, have everyone kick in $5-10k, and you can rent the entire thing.

That's comparable to a luxury vacation, and you save the cost of actually owning the boat.

Because here's what most people don't think about...

It probably costs 20% of the price in upkeep. Meaning if it's a $100 million yacht, it probably costs $20M in the crew, fuel, insurance, repairs, maintenance, marina fees, etc.

And that doesn't even factor in depreciation and the opportunity cost.

I've owned a few boats and it costs a fortune just to have the hulls scrubbed every year.

When I broke down the math for my friend, he realized he didn't want to own a yacht, he just wanted to experience being on one. And he can afford to do that right now.

Whatever big goals you have- a vacation house on the beach, a ranch retreat, a European getaway... 

Get honest about how often you'll actually use it and what the cost of ownership is, and chances are you can afford to just rent it now. 

You only have one life. Live it to the fullest. Set big goals and create a lifestyle you love. 

Get detailed about what that looks like and put a dollar amount on it. 

I bet it's more attainable than you thought...

Then get to work and build it. Make it a reality.
