Japanese experimental artist and filmmaker Aurora Aura used Topaz to finish her work Solaris Breath, an AI-generated immersive experience at Konica Minolta Planetaria, Yokohama’s 15-meter LED dome.

Aura used both image and video tools from Topaz to achieve her final work. Resolution presented the biggest technical challenge, so she upscaled source images with Gigapixel before the image-to-video workflow. Then, with most generated footage starting at 720p, she upscaled her videos to 4K with Starlight Precise 2.5 and Astra 2 to control sharpness and creativity levels.
