It's Thursday. September 24th.

September has no weekends left. One, technically — this one — and then it's the last week of the month and you're into October.

That lands differently than 'six days left', because weekends are where you keep putting the thing. Every time you moved it, you moved it to a Saturday. There aren't any more.

Six days is genuinely enough, but only for one thing. Not the list. One.

THIS WEEKEND: The fifteen-minute version of the thing you've moved most often. Once. That's it.

MONDAY TO WEDNESDAY: Same thing, same fifteen minutes.

BY SEPTEMBER 30: You end the month having done it six days running, which is not a plan any more. It's a record.

Six days is also short enough to be honest about. I am not suggesting you rescue the month. I am suggesting you end it having done one thing six times, which is a different sentence from the one you would otherwise be saying on October 1st.

85% off — September has six days in it.

[I didn't write September off →]
