Hey d,

I made my brew coffee app hands-free with Codex.

I added voice control with GPT-Live 1 for two reasons:

  1. I want a barista coach.
  2. I want to edit my recipe, tastings, and fix issues on the fly.

Details below, plus my SF trip tomorrow.

Voice adds another dimension.

I didn't expect the app to turn out like this. My original goal was pour-over coaching, and it became so much more useful with tool calling.

What could you build with voice?

Voice Control

I exposed every screen and setting to the backend GPT-6 Luna agent so that I can switch screens or change any part of the recipe.

This allows me to make on-the-fly changes when I'm actively brewing coffee (without resetting the timer).
