Introducing Phoenix. A hybrid synthesiser for cinematic sound design. Six synthesis engines fire on every key press – spectral wavetables, six-operator FM, deep sampling, bespoke transients, subharmonic generation and a complex noise oscillator. Double-click any modulation destination and the two channels split at the seams. Detune, spectral warp, decouple envelopes, phase offset, each running its own course, left and right – unlike any other synthesis engine. Developed with electronic music Pioneer BT, Phoenix draws on his thirty-year private archive alongside Spitfire's most exotic sources – frozen strings, quarter-tone clusters, bowed textures on the edge of pitch. Sample any struck object and Phoenix returns it as a playable instrument. A real-time 3D renderer draws the waveform as it's synthesised, a visualiser as inspirational as the sounds percolating through your speakers.
