Hi Huj,

We never wish an emergency on anyone. But over the years, graduates have used what they built at Sheepdog when it counted most — surviving a mass-shooting event, controlling catastrophic bleeding after an accident, getting their family out of a sudden crisis at home, and in one case disarming an attacker who had a gun on them.

Every one of those stories has the same through-line: the training was so deeply ingrained that they acted before fear could take over. That's not luck. That's what happens when capability is built into the body, not just filed away in the head.

Bill C., Sheepdog Graduate
“I was tired of feeling unsure and unprepared if I ever found myself in a situation where I needed to defend myself or respond to a medical emergency... I wanted to build real, usable skills instead of vague theoretical knowledge.”

Elizabeth M., Sheepdog Graduate
“I was nervous and hesitant because I was the newbie and least experienced of the group. With an open mind, curiosity to learn, and support from everyone there, I was able to make huge strides in my confidence.”

That capability starts with one conversation:

P.S. We don't teach this so you'll live afraid. We teach it so you can stop being afraid — because you finally have the capability you were missing
