Hi there,
Our harness engineering training at QCon San Francisco is almost sold out. That interest makes sense to us. A coding agent can produce an impressive result in a demo. The difficult work is making its changes reliable enough for an engineering team to use when no one is guiding every step.
A single training day can show you the approach. Over five weeks in the InfoQ Certified AI-Assisted Engineering Program, you’ll have four hours a week to build and measure it with senior engineers and architects from other companies. You’ll work on the same existing codebase, so you can compare what happens when different people give an agent better context, limit its permissions, add tests and independent review, and put checks into CI.
We’ve spent our working lives on agentic systems, software delivery, and code quality. We’ll bring that experience to the moments where a change appears to work but the evidence is thin. By the end, you’ll have a harnessed repository and a measurement write-up, with a clearer basis for deciding what an agent can safely handle in your own workflow.
The cohort starts October 19, meets live online, and costs $1,470.
