Coalition Avenir Québec Leader Christine Fréchette tenured her resignation Tuesday afternoon after her party failed to win a single seat in the provincial election.
Fréchette, who was the incumbent premier heading into the 39-day election campaign, said she accepted Quebecers’ choice and that the party “must now renew itself.”
