Dear Braddock Families, 

We are wrapping up Week 7! Fall is upon us, the weather is getting cooler, and the weeks seem to be flying by!

Every morning, it brings us so much joy to see our Eagles walk through the doors excited to be at school. We are grateful for the relationships and sense of belonging that continue to grow throughout our Braddock community.

This week, we have been focusing on kindness through our “Caught Being Kind” challenge. We are reminding our students that even the smallest act of kindness can brighten someone’s day. Ask your child, “How did you show kindness today?”

We also want to give a BIG congratulations to Ms. Ashley Long, our 5th grade teacher, who received an FCPS Impact Award this week! Ms. Long was recognized for her work implementing GLAD strategies with our students and for her leadership as a Project GLAD trainer. We are so proud to have her as part of our Braddock family!
