EDITOR’S NOTE

Happy Sunday. Anyone who’s ever lived with someone else knows there are few things better than having the house to yourself for a couple of days. I’ve been making the most of it by rewatching early Grey’s Anatomy (highly recommend) and unapologetically scrolling. A few of my best finds?

• If wearing corduroy pants makes you feel like a certain children’s book bear, rejoice: This is how Cool Girls are pulling off cords for fall. The first look is giving “The White Lotus takes Vermont,” and I need it now.

• Blame it on my high school job at Panera, but here’s a hill I’ll gladly die on: The top of a muffin is the only part worth eating. That’s why I’ll be making these Pumpkin Muffin Tops this afternoon. They come together in about 30 minutes, and there’s no mixer required.

• File this under Rich People Who Rich Right: Julianne Moore gave Architectural Digest a tour of her “small” apartment (with “several terraces,” mind you), and who knew a ceramic egg tower was a thing?

• Want to trick everyone into thinking you just got back from Paris Fashion Week? (More on that in a bit.) These are the fall outfit formulas French Girls swear by. No. 2, enchantée.

• On behalf of literally every human on Earth, I beg you not to commit The Most Egregious Airplane Faux Pas of All Time. No, not watching Saltburn on the seat-back entertainment system.
