There's a difference between sleepy and completely wiped

Hi Bob Novak,

Have you ever eaten lunch and thought:

Why am I suddenly SO tired?

You were perfectly fine before you ate.

Now you could seriously take a nap.

So you grab another coffee and push through the afternoon.

Then by the time dinner is over, all those things you thought you'd do tonight aren't happening.

The annoying part is that you want to do them. You're just so wiped.

And when this happens day after day, you start to wonder if this is just how you feel now.

Is it what you ate? Your blood sugar? Getting older? Just a "food coma"?

Some sleepiness after eating can be normal.

In fact, researchers have measured increased sleepiness about 1.5 hours after a meal. (Orr et al., 1997)

But there's a big difference between feeling a little sleepy after lunch and regularly feeling like someone pulled the plug on your energy.

Especially when you're eating pretty well.

Food is supposed to give you energy.

So why does eating sometimes leave you with less?

Because there's another factor most of us don't think much about.

It's not just what you eat. It's what your body is actually able to do with it.

That's exactly what my friend Laura Frontiero, FNP-BC, and founder of BioRadiant Health, is going to unpack in her upcoming live masterclass:

In the class, Laura will cover:
  • The surprising reason you can eat really well and still not feel well - and why taking supplements and stimulants may not be helping as much as you might think
  • What that after-meal crash may actually be telling you - especially if it keeps happening no matter what you eat
  • The 5 energy thieves that drain you behind the scenes - and how to identify which one(s) are creating your exhaustion
  • What you should do first - so you can stop guessing and start getting your energy and metabolism back

If you're over feeling wiped out after you eat, Laura will show you what may be happening and how to start feeling better.

P.S. What's the last thing you said no to because you were simply too tired?

Dinner with friends? An evening walk?

Playing with your grandkids? Finally tackling that project you've been looking forward to?

It doesn't have to be this way.

Come find out what's been draining your energy and what you can do to start getting it back.
