Some sad news in the world of entertainment this week.

Actor RJ Mitte, best known for playing Walter "Flynn" White Jr in TV series Breaking Bad, has died at the age of 34 in Brownsville, Texas.

"It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of beloved actor, philanthropist, and passionate disability rights advocate RJ Mitte," said Mitte's representatives in a statement.

"Drawing from his own experience living with cerebral palsy, Mitte brought authenticity to the role and built a platform on disability awareness and inclusion."

A publicist for the actor confirmed news reports that Mitte took his own life. No further details about the circumstances were given, Reuters reported.

Bryan Cranston, who played his on-screen father posted a lengthy and emotional post via Instagram, writing, "I’m in deep despair as I write this tonight. RJ Mitte, my sweet son on Breaking Bad has died.

"I met him when he was only 14 years old when he was cast as Walter White Jr., a part he played with such joy and enthusiasm."

Aaron Paul who played Jessie Pinkman, told The Hollywood Reporter: "I am at a loss. I am heartbroken over this news. RJ, I love you my friend.

"You will be missed. And to whoever happens to be reading this, please know you are loved, and you are not alone. Always remember that."

Here's some random celebrity beef this week - and it's between Kelly Clarkson and a store in New York.

Taking to X on Saturday (October 10), the singer described her customer experience at Art of Play, a curiosity shop in Brooklyn, where she claimed she was treated like "Julia Roberts' character in Pretty Woman."

"Just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out this store I thought looked really rad and had a few things in mind to buy and literally was looked at as if I couldn’t afford it and was told he could find something comparable for me. Wow, dude. You’re an idiot and just lost a huge sale."

Art of Play then took to Instagram to respond to Clarkson's claims, insisting that that she had inquired about something that was not for sale.

They noted that the bird is "permanently attached to the wall and isn’t for sale," adding, "However, the negative experience Kelly described on twitter would resonate with anyone who has ever felt judged in a shop."

"Imagine our surprise when our small local business was suddenly attacked by 8 million people who have never visited our store. It’s been a surreal experience to be the focus of such widespread outrage after just one mention by a celebrity."

To finish, they added: "We’re going to keep our heads down and hopefully, we can clear things up with Kelly someday. As a talented popular singer once said 'what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger'," referencing Clarkson's 2011 hit song 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)'.

But the feud didn't end there as Clarkson doubled down on her claims in a new X post, accusing the store of being "rude" and a "liar".

Now Art of Play has upped the price of animatronic bird named Molly at the heart of the feud to $15 million "due to popular demand" according to store co-owner Adam Rubin who called the whole thing "an insane misunderstanding" and "asymmetrical social warfare."

In-store footage of the whole debacle has since been acquired and released by Pablo Torre of the investigative podcast, “Pablo Torre Finds Out," although the video has no accompanying audio.

Who knew an animatronic bird could cause so much drama?

People have been left stunned by Donald Trump’s admission that he fabricated his claim that Russia and Ukraine agreed to an energy ceasefire.

On 24 February 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine, beginning a war that continues today as Ukraine attempts to defend itself from Russian attacks.

Efforts to reach a ceasefire have so-far failed. And, bizarrely, it seems Trump attempted to fabricate one by simply lying about both sides having agreed.

On Sunday, US president Trump posted on Truth Social claiming: “Effective immediately, there is an ENERGY CEASEFIRE in the War between Russia and Ukraine. Both parties have agreed. Do not break it! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Ukraine leader Volodymyr Zelensky said it was “news for me”, while Russia also said it had not agreed to anything.

When quizzed by the press about the claim, it emerged Trump simply made it up.

“Well, they agreed. You know why? Because I said, ‘you agree’. That’s why. They agreed because I said they agreed,” Trump admitted to
