If you use the same browser for work and everything else, your links end up mixed together. work docs sitting next to whatever you were reading last night.

spaces fix that. a separate set of links each. switch and the whole sidebar changes with it.

to make one, click the + at the bottom of the sidebar, type a name, pick a colour. that's it.

PS: ⌘⌃1 through ⌘⌃9 jumps straight to a space. needs turning on in Preferences first. also customisable and allows upto 12 quick links.
