| Happy Monday, DMV. It’s Oct. 21. I’ve long needed more dancing in my life, and yesterday, at a friend’s invitation, I went to a dance party for the first time in well over a decade. It blew me away. It was held in a small garage-like space — spare with a touch of grunge, open to the evening air. We were with a few friends and otherwise surrounded by strangers, moving as one with the music. It filled me with so much joy. And because it started in the early evening, I made it home in time to hit the hay early. Perfect. Daytime dance parties: More, please.
