The World Series is nearly upon us.

But how about the Rockies? After back-to-back 100-loss seasons, there's plenty to look at entering the offseason. Beat writer Patrick Saunders forecasts what could happen, including trades and, perhaps, a lower payroll.

Meanwhile, manager Bud Black, who's will enter his ninth season as the team's manager, is optimistic about the team's outlook: “More than anything," he said, "I think we are heading in the right direction, as far as our talent is concerned.”

So what does the future have in store? Kyle Newman breaks down the team's top 10 prospects.
