September: Student-Athlete of the Month

Sean Anderson For a first-year sport and program, Sean has helped set an incredible tone for this team. As the team’s only senior, leads by example. He helps teammates newer to the game through both technical work and showing them how it’s done on the court, leading South Lakes to an undefeated 5-0 Concorde district record in the month of September. Eva Collingham Eva ended the month with an impressive average of 2.4 serving aces, 12.3 kills, and 2.9 digs per match, Eva has been a powerhouse on the court. Her relentless drive and skill have played a pivotal role in propelling our team to a competitive 6-4 record by the end of September. Keep shining, Eva! Your hard work and dedication inspire us all!

Each athlete MUST complete the 2 items below prior to any off season workout or try-outs:

• VHSL physical is required for participation. It must be dated after May 1, 2024.  The VHSL Physical Form can be found HERE
• Please make sure that the insurance information is included, and all parent/student signatures are on the form.

• Please turn your Physical into the Activities Office (Room #338) or scan and email it to Becky Slaight at RASlaight@fcps.edu.

• Families & student-athletes must complete the online Athletic Registration each school year after May 1^st for the following school year. You can find this link HERE. The information on the registration must be updated each year for the student-athlete to be eligible. Please update any emergency contact information, complete the concussion education, and check the sport(s) that they wish to try-out for.
