A host of artists lent their talents and unique styles to You Keep Me Hanging On. One version that isn’t discussed much is Rod Stewart’s rendition from his 1977 album, Footloose and Fancy Free. Thanks to Pat Zehr for coming through on this one – and so many others. And a special thanks to Brian Kelly, who supplied quiz questions last week while yours truly was on holiday. I can rest easy when I’m off, knowing Brian, similarly a keen student of fine music facts, is firmly at the wheel. It’s fair to say he’s as much of a ‘walking musical encyclopedia.’
