It appears that if Elaine Mills and Paula Liukkonen attend Rod Stewart’s July 22 show in Toronto, they’ll likely be screaming out similar song requests – ‘requests’ being the operative word. 

“I'm not sure how you can just choose one favourite song. He has way too many top hits for just one,” Elaine writes us. Her Top 3 are Forever Young, Have You Ever Seen the Rain and The First Cut is the Deepest. 

“All are great to sing along to when you're working out or just hanging out!” 

Paula picks Forever Young and The First Cut is the Deepest as favs.  

“Couldn't choose just one,” she writes. 

Paula is thinking of going to see Rod Stewart when the veteran British rocker, 79, brings his One Last Time tour of North America to Toronto. 

“Might be his last.” 

Indeed. This scribe would likely request You're in My Heart (The Final Acclaim) and Sailing. Some Guys Have All the Luck was a 1980s favourite.
