So, the other day, I was walking to meet a friend, wandering if my new pants properly suited me because they felt a bit tight. Then, I tripped on a rock and my phone fell off. Luckily, a kind stranger picked it up for me. I said, “Oh, I don’t care. I’ve got insurance.” But for some odd reason, I think they thought I was being rude!

Some verbs are SO easy to mix up! Whether it’s similar sounds (wonder vs wander), close meanings (fit vs suit) or a tiny preposition changing the whole meaning (fall off vs fall down), it’s no surprise these cause confusion.
