Republican Nick Begich III has won Alaska’s sole U.S. House seat, flipping it from Democratic to Republican control. Meanwhile, Alaskans narrowly voted to keep the state's ranked choice voting and open primary system.

It's sunny again today with a high around 21 degrees. Friday should be mostly sunny, but the forecast calls for clouds over the weekend and the return of snow by early next week. Daytime temperatures will gradually climb up into the high 20s over the next few days.
