Good morning, I'm Lincoln Archer from the ABC News website. This morning we're bringing you the continuing drama surrounding the seemingly precarious Gaza ceasefire deal.

We're also hearing about eye-watering wait times at emergency departments, mourning Twin Peaks creator David Lynch, and telling our kids to cough up some cash (for their own good).

What's the story: Israel's cabinet has delayed a vote to endorse the Gaza ceasefire deal announced yesterday and due to take effect on Sunday. The national security minister is threatening to quit cabinet and pull his party out of Benjamin Netanyahu's government if the deal is approved.

What's the sticking point: Itamar Ben-Gvir has said the deal was a "disaster" because Israel would give up positions along Gaza. Earlier, Mr Netanyahu accused Hamas of hedging on its commitment, but Hamas insists it's still on board.

The protests continue: Our correspondent Matt Doran has told us hundreds of people marched in Jerusalem saying the ceasefire agreement didn't go far enough. And what's more "there's a sense of anger" that politicians seem to be trying to sink the deal.
