We'd like to use Agent script if possible to have a contact centre agent verify the email address of a caller they're on call with to see if they are part of a specific group in Okta via API calls.

Need guidance on existing docs or completed projects, associated steps, applicable API calls.
Details:
Could we use and execute a data action that calls OKTA APIs on an agent script Available script actions - Genesys Cloud Resource Center, About scripting - Genesys Cloud Resource Center.
With this, could the agent input the customer email on the script and execute a data action in the backend via a button and get a response in return which then can be extracted and also displayed on the agent script

Similar to secure flow -
the Agent is able to enter in a $$ amount and send the caller to a secure flow which performs PAN collection and calls API to send data to payment provider.
Similarly, we'd like to know if it's possible to Enter in an email address of a caller on the Genesys UI and do a 3rd party API call into OKTA and get a response that they are indeed verified.
