No Frills Fundraiser

Thanks to all our generous donors,

we have reached 16% of our goal for the school year! 

Please consider helping the PTA fund these great events. You can make a difference for our kids and their middle school experience—give today!

This year, rather than asking students to sell items (like cookie dough or wrapping paper) we are hoping you will participate in our no frills fundraiser! Please take time to read about what we have planned this year and consider making a donation to help make these plans a reality. Each donation we receive will ensure that the following programs can happen this school year.   

This week we’d like to highlight a very special event that we are planning for Spring 2025!                                               

The PTA in collaboration with RCMS administration and our rockstar librarians are planning an Author Visit with New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Nielsen. 

Ms. Nielsen will come to RCMS to give a presentation to the whole school, followed by her participation in a Parent/Teen book club featuring her books. PTA members will have early access to register for this event. This is an event you won’t want to miss. The fall Parent/Teen Book Club was an undeniable success with interesting conversations and connections for parents and teens alike. Your donation will help make this event happen! 

Any amount you can give will help us towards our goal of fully funding all of our PTA events that will enrich our children’s learning!

Regal Cinemas RCMS Fundraiser

Planning on seeing a movie or two this winter? 

See a winter blockbuster and help support the RCMS PTA! 

Purchase a Regal Cinemas 2-ticket bundle for $30, and 25% will go to support PTA initiatives!

The closest Regal Cinemas are Fairfax or Dulles, and these tickets can also be used nationwide. Plan a fun get together with Carson friends or take the family out for a night together! Attention Seventh Grade Parents!

Congratulations! You’ve made it almost halfway through your first year here at Carson! We hope you have felt welcomed into our amazing community. Now that you’re in the groove, we’d like to ask you to take on some volunteer roles in the PTA. Many in PTA leadership are 8th grade parents and we’d like to leave our legacy strong with a group of dedicated leaders. Good news is it’s only an 18 month commitment, and we have a strong framework to hand off and make sure that your child’s time at Carson is as positive and enriching as it can be. We are ready to mentor folks in all areas of leadership, YOU have something to offer and we’d love to have your input. Please reach out to  rcmspta@gmail.com for more information. Many hands make light work and with your help we will achieve great things for Carson.
