Former Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao has been indicted on federal bribery charges.
The U.S. attorney’s office unveiled the indictment Friday morning in downtown San Francisco. Prosecutors allege that Thao promised to extend the contract of a recycling company in exchange for financial benefits.
