I am writing to you because I am convinced that Europe is at a turning point – and because I do not want us to miss this moment.
For too long we have watched as our digital infrastructure has migrated into the hands of American technology corporations. As our dependence on Chinese hardware has grown. As we have given up control over our own data, our own technology, our own future, piece by piece. It does not have to remain this way. Digital and physical sovereignty is possible in Europe. Not eventually. Now.
The key lies in local AI.
Imagine this: AI that does not run in a data center in the USA, but directly on your device. You operate it yourself. Locally. Under your control. Your data never leaves your company. You run your model and fine-tune it with your own data – for your industry, for your language. Private. Sovereign. Transparent.
But the crucial thing is this: When millions of European devices are networked with local AI, they together form a decentralized supercloud. No central infrastructure. No single point of failure. Instead, distributed computing power that learns together and trains together – all while remaining end-to-end encrypted and completely anonymized. Not a single byte of data leaves the respective device unprotected. Collective intelligence that remains in Europe. And with the advent of quantum encryption, this decentralized supercloud will operate in the near future at a level of security that is unimaginable today.
That is exactly what we are building.
This is not just digital sovereignty – it is also physical. A single large data center is a target. In a crisis, in a war, it can be destroyed. But millions of small nodes spread across all of Europe? Unassailable. Resilient. Each personal computer becomes a building block of European infrastructure. Each user an active part of our continent's sovereignty.
At the same time, we are solving a problem that is talked about far too rarely: the massive energy hunger of AI. Gigantic cloud data centers that devour electricity around the clock – neither sustainable nor necessary. Local AI, which is trained and executed directly on the device, needs a fraction of that. More efficient. Faster. Greener. Good for the environment. Good for Europe.
Local AI is the foundation. But what use is a sovereign system if the user experience continues to be defined by others? That is why we are combining local AI with 3D technology, creating a completely new way to interact with digital content. Instead of flat screens and abstract dashboards, you work with content that is tangible – spatial and intuitive. That changes how we work, learn, and make decisions. And it opens up a new device category: consumer devices that we want to develop and build ourselves in Europe in the medium term.
Because if the products are right, an ecosystem is created from them. From the mining of rare earths to the fully assembled AI robot. Components. Manufacturing. Infrastructure. Everything in Europe. Everything possible within five years.
Made in Europe. Not as a slogan. As a reality.
We must think big again. Dream. Have visions. Be capable of defense. Independent. Sovereign.
We at AMERIA AG are working on exactly this future. With local AI, 3D technology, and a user experience that shows: Europe can not only keep up – Europe can lead.
And that is not a promise. It is already a reality. More than 70 registered and granted patents protect this European invention. Our partnerships with Sony, Samsung, and other global technology corporations confirm our progress. The market response is there. The technology is there.
Now only one thing is missing: the courage to act together.
Whoever shares this vision becomes part of AMERIA.
No more conferences. No more talk. Act.
